Long healthy hair is enjoyed by many women because of the versatility it provides. Studies have shown that it allows the body to better metabolize fatty and amino acids along with glucose. Additionally, it provides benefits to those who deal with dry eyes, fatigue, and depression.

It should be obvious then that both male and female can find advantages to biotin supplements and products. Teenagers have also found its use to be beneficial. However, many high dosage supplements are most often marketed to the male population. This particular supplement though has been more heavily marketed to the female.

The teenager must be careful when taking this vitamin to avoid creating the very acne they are trying to rid themselves of. Taking too much can create this situation which generally shows itself around the chin and jawline. Others may find they have an allergic reaction. It is best to be aware of how the body responds to any supplements taken. If nausea, rashes, or throat swelling are experienced, discontinue use immediately.

One can find lots of different biotin products available both online as well as at most local drugstores. Once one determines the route they would like to take to simulate growth, some research should be undertaken to determine which product or combination of products to commit to.
